Jason House is a filmmaker and photographer based out of Echo Park.  

His commercial film production work often details real people and human portraiture in documentary settings while his still photography explores themes of time, transience, and decay in portraits and landscapes.

His ongoing Mono No Aware photo series depicts recently empty and abandoned places that still seem haunted by the thoughts, feelings, and impressions of their previous inhabitants.
